OK we know the negotiations aren’t going well, but this is an enticing matchup and another in the series we put to the FightBeat boxing experts in order to see not only who wins, but who they want to win.

First up, Khan wasn’t very popular amongst our experts. This next comment pretty much sums up much of the the feeling about Amir Khan;

“Khan’s essentially Roach’s programmed boxbot, the budget model. Jab, jab, jab, hands up move, jab, jab, jab, throw a flurry, hands up move. The chances of a guy like that being drawn onto one of those (Judah’s) left uppercuts or short right hooks seems better than most.”

Many in the community were not convinced of Khan’s legitimacy, and in particular his chin. It was felt that Judah, with his southpaw style, experience and knockout power, had a great chance to end Khan’s career;

“Watching Khan get stretched out by Judah would be a sweet, sweet moment.”

“Pretty easy call here, Judah will STOP him”

“Amir Conman is just sooooo sloppy, that I could see Zab timing him with a left and rocking his world.”

However, while many of our experts saw Judah as a legitimate threat to Khan, there were some who held a different view;

“I’m not impressed with Khan at all and think that those who are are just blinded by his speed or just pure fanboys and fail to look at his lack of skills (for a world class fighter). But I don’t think Khan will lose to Judah. Judah is a live underdog, but is too inactive and past his prime IMO. Khan should outwork him and Judah will go into a shell and drop a decision”

So all in all, our Fightbeat experts not only want Judah to win, but think he has a great chance to do just that. All we need is the fight to be signed.

Alfredo Angulo training and sparring - enjoy

In a stunning end to the trilogy between these 2 thaiboxers, “John” Wayne Parr defeated Mike Zambidis by TKO in the first round (3 knockdown rule).

Parr landed a great right hand to spark the first knockdown, and never let Zambidis recover, the referee waving off the fight after the third knockdown.

In their first meeting, Zambidis won a close and controversial decision, while in the second Parr won the decision. This final meeting was the closing chapter between the 2 combatants, which saw Parr victorious.
